Our BLP Staff Weekend
Our group getaway took us to Le Grand Hôtel Chandolin.
Last weekend, we celebrated our fifth BLP Weekend, our annual event designed to bring our team together outside of the working environment. It’s a chance for us to kick back, get involved in activities, and get to know each other better.
BLP’s pitch stood out in a 12-vendor selection process. It almost sounded too good to be true, but they delivered.

We arrived Friday afternoon to stunning mountain sights.
Nestled high up in Chandolin, surrounded by the Swiss Alps and the Matterhorn in the distance, Le Grand Hôtel offers incredible views and a chance for us all to connect upon arrival over coffee, drinks, and food. It was a relaxing way to start to get to know each other better. As our offices are located around the world, this was a real opportunity for some of our staff members not based in Switzerland to mingle.
Saturday allowed us to choose our own adventures for the day.
After a delicious team breakfast on Saturday morning, we were each left with an option for how we wanted to spend the day. Those of us who liked hiking but aren’t pros took a moderate hike with a comfortable pace. The professionals amongst us (and we’re based in Switzerland, so there are a lot of us) went with a more challenging hike. And those of us more keen on relaxing took a sightseeing journey round the area, checking out local attractions and high points.
Heading home and closer than ever before.
And so, on Saturday evening, after some dinner and drinks, it was time to return to Zurich together. We had a great time forging new friendships and strengthening existing ones, while relaxing in a beautiful and inspirational spot with perfect mountain views.
