For more than 30 years, FREITAG has stood for circular thinking, design, and sustainability, best known for its iconic bags made from used truck tarps, designed and produced in Zurich and sold worldwide. As invoice volumes increased and teams became more decentralized between Zurich and Berlin, it was clear that paper-based and partly manual accounting workflows no longer matched the company’s agile, digital mindset. Before BLP: printed invoices, document piles, lost receipts, missing signatures, no clear ownership, endless email threads, and delays, especially between the Zurich and Berlin offices. Today, with BLP, a single accounts payable clerk, supported by third-year apprentices, manages the entire invoice flow. Paperless, in a fraction of the time.
